Developing an approach to international science advice

This is an opportunity for participants to consider what can be achieved multinationally that could not be done by individual countries. What would be the added value of a network of senior science advisors, both in the international arena (global issues) and to individual countries (peer support for domestic issues)? Day 2 will consider the following questions:

  • Developing a common approach for giving advice multi-nationally to international bodies: What is the place of a multi-national approach for science advice?
  • What issues necessitate multi-lateral thinking?
